The John Fery: Artist of the Rockies exhibit at the Hockaday (June 15 - September 18, 2010) featured 23 paintings created by John Fery in the late 1800’s/early 1900’s. Commissioned by the Great Northern Railroad to paint the scenery along its route and in Glacier National Park in order to attract people to the area, Fery made an important contribution in the creation of Glacier National Park through his work. The Hockaday presented this collection of historic paintings in cooperation with the Fery family, BNSF Railway and private collectors. This full-color, 13"x19" poster on high-quality heavyweight poster paper features "Grinnell Mountain - McDermott Falls", Oil on Canvas, 40"x60", from the BNSF Railway Collection.
