About the Exhibit

Resilience is an important facet in virtually every Indigenous culture across the world. In the face of adversity our collective strength of character and belief will win through to another day. This exhibit will focus upon the beauty and resilience which our cultures have consistently implemented simply to continue existing.
— Creative Indigenous Collective

The Creative Indigenous Collective (CIC) formed to represent the education and promotion of Indigenous creativity. It encourages creation via traditional art forms, cultural art, technological development and the distribution and implementation of such knowledge. CIC artists are: Robert Martinez, Lauren Monroe, Ben Pease, John Pepion, Louis Still Smoking, Gina Still Smoking, and Holly Young.
